Coaching & Services
Who is The Performance Coach for?
The Performance Coach is for people who want structure, clarity, and accountability with their training and nutrition. If you’re tired of guessing, hopping between plans, or feeling inconsistent, this is for you. My clients range from busy professionals and everyday gym-goers to athletes and physique competitors.
Who is this coaching not for?
If you’re looking for a quick fix, a generic meal plan, or a one-size-fits-all program, this probably isn’t the right fit. My approach is personalised, data-driven, and focused on long-term results rather than shortcuts.
What makes your coaching different from other trainers or online coaches?
Most coaches give you a program. I give you a system.
Training, nutrition, recovery, habits, and mindset are all considered together, based on your goals, lifestyle, and real-world constraints. Everything is built specifically for you and not copied from a template.
Training
Do you build custom training programs or use templates?
Every program is custom-built. Exercises, volume, intensity, tempo, and progression are selected based on your experience, goals, injury history, and available equipment.
How many days per week do I need to train?
That depends on your goal, schedule, and recovery capacity. Some clients train 3 days per week, others 5–6. The plan is designed to fit your life, not the other way around.
Can you help if I’m new to the gym?
Absolutely. Programs are scaled to your experience level, with clear instructions and coaching support so you can build confidence, technique, and consistency from day one.
Do you offer online coaching or is it in-person only?
I offer both. Online coaching provides structured programming, nutrition planning, accountability, and regular check-ins — with the flexibility to train wherever you are.
Nutrition
Do you use macro tracking or meal plans?
Both... and this is a key part of how my coaching works. I set and regularly adjust your macronutrient targets based on your goal, training load, progress, and lifestyle. From there, I build detailed, practical meal plans that hit those macros for you. This means you don’t need to guess, calculate, or stress about food choices.
Do I need to know how to count macros?
No. Most clients don’t — and that’s completely ok. While macros are the framework behind the plan, you’re not expected to manually track or build meals yourself unless you want to. The meal plan is designed to do the work for you, ensuring accuracy and consistency without mental load.
Why do you provide meal plans instead of just macro targets?
Because for most people, macros alone aren’t enough. General population clients often miss micronutrients, fibre intake, meal structure and consistency and food quality over the week. Providing meal plans allows me to control both macronutrients and micronutrient intake, which improves energy, recovery, digestion, and overall adherence, not just scale weight. Macros guide the plan. Meal plans ensure it’s executed correctly.”
Are meal plans rigid or restrictive?
No. They’re structured, not strict. Meal plans are built with food preferences considered, fFlexible swaps where appropriate, realistic portion sizes, lifestyle sustainability in mind, the goal is consistency and compliance, not perfection.
Can the meal plan change over time?
Absolutely. Meal plans and macros are adjusted regularly based on progress data, training demands, body composition changes, lLifestyle or schedule shifts. Nothing is static, your nutrition evolves as you do.
What if I want more flexibility later on?
That’s an option. Some clients transition toward more flexible eating once they understand portions, hunger cues, and structure. Others prefer to stay on meal plans long-term because it removes decision fatigue. Both approaches are valid, the plan is tailored to what helps you execute best.
Can you support fat loss and muscle gain with this approach?
Yes. This method works for sustainable fat loss, lean muscle gain, body recomposition, performance and recovery support. By controlling structure and nutrients, we reduce guesswork and increase results.
Why is this approach better than generic meal plans or apps?
Generic plans don’t adapt, and apps rely on user accuracy. Your meal plan is built specifically for your macros, adjusted based on real data, designed by a coach who understands training demands, focused on long-term health, not just calories. That’s the difference.
Results & Expectations
How long does it take to see results?
Most clients notice improvements in energy, strength, and routine within the first few weeks. Visible body composition changes typically occur over 8–12 weeks, depending on consistency and starting point.
Do you guarantee results?
Results depend on your effort, consistency, adherence and communication. What I guarantee is a well-structured plan, ongoing support, and adjustments based on your progress and feedback that will work if you committ the plan.
What if I plateau or struggle with motivation?
That’s part of the process. Coaching includes regular check-ins, progress reviews, and plan adjustments. We troubleshoot what’s happening and keep moving forward, instead of starting over.
Lifestyle & Mindset
Do you coach mindset and habits as well as training and nutrition?
Yes. Long-term results come from consistency, not perfection. We work on routines, behaviours, and decision-making so progress feels sustainable, not forced.
Can coaching work if I’m busy or stressed?
Yes and that’s often when coaching is most valuable. Programs are designed around your workload, stress levels, and recovery capacity to avoid burnout.
Getting Started
How do I get started?
You’ll begin with an onboarding process where I learn about your goals, history, lifestyle, and preferences. From there, your training and nutrition plan is built specifically for you.
Do I need gym access?
Gym access is ideal, but home-based or hybrid programs can be created depending on your equipment and setup.
Is coaching flexible if my schedule changes?
Yes. Programs and weekly structure can be adjusted to suit travel, work demands, or changing circumstances.
